Neighborhoods
Delaware Ohio is the county seat north of Columbus, with a historic downtown square, Ohio Wesleyan energy, and a growing role as a residential alternative to closer-in suburbs when buyers want space and a real Main Street. It is a separate city, not a Columbus neighborhood, and the drive up US-23 or I-71 is part of the weekend math.
For things to do in Delaware, plan around the downtown square and seasonal events on our events calendar, then decide whether the day also includes Powell or the Columbus Zoo. Where to live puts Delaware in the north-suburban comparison set beside Powell and Lewis Center. Downtown square parking is simpler than Polaris on a Saturday, which is part of the appeal.
Little Brown Jug fairgrounds week about 30 minutes north, with barns, racing energy, and classic fair food.
