Best Steak & Seafood Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio

We ranked six Columbus restaurants that treat steak and seafood as equal halves of the menu, using each one's own website and menus, checked October 30 and 31, for cuts, prices, raw bar and fish programs, hours and happy hours. The ranking rewards kitchens where the seafood side has real depth, such as oysters, shellfish towers or daily flown-in fish, alongside a serious beef program, then the extras that shape a night out: brunch, patios, valet and lounge deals. The list runs from Easton and Worthington to Downtown, the Arena District, Gahanna and German Village. We did not dine at these restaurants for this update.

Why Mitchell's Ocean Club Is Our Best Overall Pick

Mitchell's Ocean Club, on the second level of the Easton Station building at Easton Town Center, opened in 2006 as the first restaurant in what became the Ocean Prime group. Its oyster program includes Rose and Garnet, a private-label East Coast oyster grown with Cape Cod Oyster Co. From 4 to 6 p.m. weekdays the lounge menu is half off, East Coast oysters are $3 each and baked or Rockefeller oysters are three for $10. Dinner runs 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
