We ranked seven Columbus dog groomers using what each salon publishes: services and what they include, posted prices, booking rules, hours and how the space is set up for dogs, checked October 30 and 31. The ranking favors salons that put grooming first and explain how they handle nervous or tricky dogs, such as one groomer per dog, private drying spaces or a slower pace. Posted prices and clear booking instructions also earn credit, since they save owners a phone tag cycle. We did not book appointments or bring dogs in for this update, so handling notes reflect each shop's own description.

Black Dog Groomers is a one-groomer salon at 3023 Indianola Ave, so Ava handles every dog from bath to finish, and the shop asks owners to call to book. It is also the only salon here that posts a full price grid. A full groom runs $80 for dogs under 10 pounds up to $140 and more for dogs over 75, and a bath and tidy starts at $70. Every service includes teeth brushing, nail filing, ear cleaning and a full blow dry, and long coats or deshedding cost extra.
