Why Fly A Way Farm why was this picked
Fly A Way Farm prices by the foot, $13 for Canaan fir and $11 for Scotch or Eastern White Pine, and opens only Dec. 5 and 6 this year, 9 a.m. until dusk, for cash or checks. Dentist Dave Davis and his wife Marti, a nurse, bought the land in 1975 and planted seedlings in 1986. A 1930s private landing strip down the middle now carries tractor-drawn hayrides to Santa's Shack, where trees are shaken and baled free. Grandma's homemade sugar cookies come with complimentary hot chocolate.
