Our method was reading each restaurant's own website and current menus on October 30 and 31 for the cut, the cooking method, the price where one is printed, and the hours, then checking addresses and phone numbers against those same pages. We have not tasted these dishes for this list, so every claim below comes from what the restaurants publish. Two Powell picks, a rooftop lounge with koji beef skewers and a hibachi grill, are labeled as stretch picks because the format is not a plated steak dinner. One Short North pick could not be checked this week and is flagged.
