Old Bag of Nails Drops Delaware From Locations List
The Irish pub chain no longer lists its longtime Sandusky Street room after a Sunday close. Status: Closed.

Old Bag of Nails Pub has removed its Delaware restaurant from the chain's locations directory. Checks of that page through Friday morning found no Delaware entry, no Sandusky Street line, and no hours for the former room. Direct paths that once pointed at the Delaware location now return a not-found page on the company domain.
For 22 years the pub's home was 66 N. Sandusky St. 614NOW first reported a company social post that set Sunday, October 11, as the last day open and said the owners could not reach a long-term lease with the landlord. The same post asked regulars to visit that week and left room for a future Delaware return if another site appeared.
What remains on the company site is a multi-city Ohio and Michigan map. Central Ohio rooms still listed include Bexley, Hilliard, Marysville, Newark, Pickerington, Upper Arlington, Westerville, Whitehall, and Worthington, plus other Ohio and Michigan stores farther out. Delaware is simply gone from that roster, which is the clearest owner-side signal that the Sandusky Street room is closed.
For Delaware regulars, the closest rooms on that list now sit to the south. The Worthington pub at 663 N. High St. is labeled the original location on the company page, and the Westerville pub is at 24 N. State St. in Uptown. Both post Monday through Thursday hours that start at 11 a.m., so a lunch drive south is the nearest replacement.
The closing lands on a downtown block that still has other evening options. Hallihan's Irish Pub opened in September a short walk away on West William Street. For more on the county seat, see our Delaware page, or track other exits under Closings.
Old Bag of Nails did not post a standalone farewell page on its public site beyond the locations change. We will update this story if the company adds a Delaware notice, a temporary pop-up, or a new address on its own domain.
