What we're reading, week of October 19
Five tips from other Columbus newsrooms that wait here until an owner page, permit or city record backs them up. Status: Roundup.

These five came from other local food writers over the past week. We looked for an owner post, a permit or a city record on each one and did not find one we could cite, so each line points to the original story and notes what we checked.
- Overdose Hot Chicken on North Hamilton Road - 614NOW reports a second location at 5352 N. Hamilton Rd. with a soft opening on October 14, following the Hilltop original on West Broad. The chain's own website does not list locations, so we have no owner page with the new address.
- Maani's at COhatch Dublin - Breakfast With Nick says the Pakistani-inspired pop-up settles in at 25 N. High St. in Historic Dublin, serving Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The atmaanis.com domain is still an under-construction page.
- Dafuque Beer to Gahanna Parkway - The same column reports the brewery has left the Short North for 1102 Gahanna Pkwy. The brewery website still advertises its February grand opening at 1205 N. High St.
- Tre Kitchen & Bar in Harrison West - Breakfast With Nick lists a new eatery headed for 335 W. Third Ave. The domain we found reads Launching Soon, and the name does not appear in the liquor notices on this week's council agenda.
- AstroLab Matcha, a follow-up - After last week's mention, 614NOW quotes the founder's launch post and places the studio inside Milky Way Matcha at 1600 W. Lane Ave. The AstroLab Instagram bio now says it is popping up, but no owner page we can read gives the address.
Trader Joe's at Polaris is not on this list because a liquor filing on the Columbus council agenda backs it up, so it has its own story. Any tip that gains a primary source graduates to Openings or Closings. Earlier weeks live on the reading hub, and the Gahanna and Dublin pages cover two of the suburbs above.
