Neighborhoods

North Side

North Side Columbus is a broad label for neighborhoods and corridors north of downtown that are not already covered by Short North, Clintonville, Campus, or Polaris. It is useful for tagging when a story sits between those stronger identities, or when a reader says "north side" without meaning a specific civic boundary on a map.

For things to do on the North Side, start from the nearest named district: Clintonville, Short North, or Polaris. Then use where to live if the real question is which north-side lifestyle fits your commute and budget, not which umbrella label appears on a mailing list. Ask for a cross street when someone says north side, because the label spans very different housing stock.
