Yogi's Opens Fifth Bar & Grill on Hamilton Road
Columbus Tavern Group's northeast spot is serving at 5571 N. Hamilton Road. Status: Open.
Yogi's Bar & Grill unlocked the doors of its fifth Columbus-area location at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 15. The chain's owner page now reads "Hamilton Road is now open," and the full Hamilton Road menu and hours sit on the Locations & Menus directory alongside the four older rooms.
The building is 5571 N. Hamilton Road, the longtime home of Turtle Creek Tavern. That bar opened in 2012 and its own website now carries only a short closed notice. The address and the handoff to Yogi's came from a Yogi's Facebook post that NBC4 first reported on October 9.
Posted hours for the Hamilton Road room are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, with a 1 a.m. close on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday the bar stays open until 2:30 a.m. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The ZIP code is 43230, and the property sits on the Columbus side of the line between Gahanna and New Albany.
Yogi's belongs to the Columbus Tavern Group. Its other bars are on the west and northwest sides: West Fifth Avenue in Grandview, Karric Square Drive and Hard Road in Dublin, and West Henderson Road near Upper Arlington. That makes Hamilton Road the first Yogi's on the northeast side of town.
The location page lists the current food menu and house drinks. That lineup covers 12-inch tavern-style thin crust pizza, hand-breaded boneless wings and tenders, wraps, bowls, and a smashburger with two patties ground from chuck and brisket. The company says $1 from each traditional wing order goes to Nationwide Children's Hospital, and a nightly late menu of eight $8 plates starts at 9 p.m.
