This Weekend in the 614: Oct 16-18
Jonas Brothers Friday, Twenty One Pilots at the Horseshoe and RidgeFest Saturday, then the Columbus Marathon early Sunday. Status: This weekend.

A stadium concert and a marathon share this weekend, so plan around the roads before you plan around the tickets. These six picks for Friday, October 16, through Sunday, October 18, all come off our events calendar.
- Pumpkin Walk Around the Pond - Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Confluence Area of Three Creeks Metro Park, a flat half mile around Turtle Pond with treat stops for kids in costume.
- Jonas Brothers at Nationwide Arena - Friday at 7:30 p.m., the brothers bring their throwback tour to the Arena District.
- RidgeFest at Glacier Ridge - Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. on Hyland-Croy Road, with nature tables, partner booths and the wetland boardwalk a few steps away.
- Twenty One Pilots at Ohio Stadium - Saturday at 6 p.m., the Columbus duo headlines the Horseshoe, with Emi Grace and Death Cab for Cutie opening.
- ProMusica: Mozart Great Mass - Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Theatre, the chamber orchestra opens its 48th season with the Mass in C minor, and a second performance is listed for Sunday.
- Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon - Sunday with a 7:30 a.m. start for the full and half, and the Jesse Owens 5K and kids races also on the race weekend schedule.
Saturday stacks two big crowds: the stadium show on Campus and Blue Jackets vs. Rangers at 7 p.m. at Nationwide Arena. Our game day guide covers parking near Ohio Stadium, and the same advice holds for a concert. On Sunday morning, expect race-day street closures around Downtown, so time any brunch there for after the course clears.
Want a smaller day trip Saturday? Lancaster's fall festival, which doubles as Bark in the Park, goes from noon until 5 p.m. with hayrides and a pet costume contest.
