Sugar Opens Latin-Mediterranean Room on Park Street
One Hospitality's Sugar Restaurant and Bar is open at 504 Park St. in the former Howl at the Moon space. Status: Open.

Park Street has a new neighborhood restaurant where Howl at the Moon used to pack piano nights. Sugar Restaurant and Bar is open at 504 Park St., serving Spanish and Mediterranean plates, tacos, brunch, and a crowded cocktail list across two indoor levels and a patio.
One Hospitality lists the room on its Sugar site and the group page as the casual sibling across from Astra Rooftop and Spruce St. Sporting, with indoor-outdoor seats and a drink program built around margaritas, spritzes, and micheladas.
The doors opened August 27, 2026. Current hours on the site push lunch on weekdays, dinner into midnight or 1 a.m., and a weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. with half-off margaritas and wine plus food specials on tacos, quesadillas, and dips.
What is on the board
The menu mixes coastal Mediterranean and Latin comfort: crispy tacos, seafood, burgers, salads, pasta, and shareable dips, with desserts such as tres leches. Three bars split the main floor, upstairs, and patio so the room can shift from early dinner to a longer night without leaving the block.
The Sugar name nods to the earlier Sugar Bar nightlife chapter on Park Street that closed in 2010. One Hospitality is using the reboot as part of a longer Park Street plan that already includes Astra and Spruce and still teases more concepts later.
How it fits the block
For Arena District and downtown visitors, Sugar adds a full restaurant option on a street that leaned harder into nightlife for years. Reservations and event notes live on the restaurant site, which is the cleanest place to confirm brunch, lunch, and late hours before you go.
Map the blocks with our Arena District page. Pair drinks planning with happy hour by neighborhood and cheap date night. More Central Ohio plates sit under Things to Do: Food and Drink.
Sugar is open at 504 Park St. Bring a patio plan if the weather cooperates, or settle in upstairs when the main floor fills.
