Picktown Palooza Ends After Ten Summers in Pickerington
Organizer Panger Productions says the July 2026 anniversary edition, headlined by Buckcherry, was the last one. Status: Discontinued.

Picktown Palooza, the summer music festival in Pickerington, will not come back. Panger Productions, the nonprofit that ran it, posted an announcement on the festival website saying its board decided to end the event after the 10th anniversary edition on July 9 through 11, 2026. The statement does not give a reason.
The festival started in 2017, and its first year nearly sank it when significant flooding forced organizers to finish the weekend at another site. It grew into a three-day stop for touring rock acts, and this summer's finale packed ten bands into the weekend, topped by Buckcherry, with BulletBoys and L.A. Guns also headlining. The Freedom 5K, a car, truck and bike show and a row of local business booths ran alongside the music.
Panger Productions is a 501(c)(3) based in Pickerington with a volunteer board, and it says the festival's charity side funneled money to local groups for a decade. In 2025, the local chamber of commerce named it Nonprofit of the Year. Chris Stein, who founded the group and serves as president, wrote in the statement that the festival was always about more than the bands, and that its real point was bringing people together.
The statement does not say whether the group plans any other event. We will add any follow-up the organizers post.
