Rise Up Arts Alliance Stages A Christmas Carol in Lancaster

Rise Up Arts Alliance, a Lancaster community theater group, brings Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol to its home space at 632 West Fifth Avenue for four performances at the Lancaster City Parks office. Opening night is Thursday, December 17, 2026, at 7 p.m., followed by 7 p.m. shows on December 18 and 19 and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, December 20.

The production follows Ebenezer Scrooge through the visits of the three spirits, and the troupe pitches it as suitable for all ages, which makes the Sunday matinee the easy pick for families with younger kids. The same company stages The Crucible in that space November 19 to 21, so the December run closes out a busy fall for the group.

Organizers expect tickets to go quickly, and reservations and updates run through the Rise Up Arts Alliance Facebook page.
