The duo pairs singer and washboard player Lil' Red with Pascal Fouquet, a guitarist from Normandy, France, and their sound blends Chicago blues with a European touring band's polish. Specter is a 40-year veteran of the Chicago scene who has made 14 albums on the Delmark label, and his clean, jazzy tone is well known among blues guitar fans.

The three first shared a stage in 2018 at the Bay-Car Blues Festival in France, and this tour brings that partnership to the States.
