Affirmative Distraction brings its Wild N Out style team improv battle, plus a DJ, spoken word and a closing musical act, to Natalie's Grandview on October 30, 2026.
Affirmative Distraction presents Wild N Shinkey, billed this time as another Halloween edition, on Charlie's Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $15.
The format borrows from Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out. Two teams play a string of improv games across the night, competing for a championship belt, while a DJ keeps score and sets the soundtrack. The audience decides what lands, which keeps the performers working for every laugh. Between rounds a spoken word artist takes a turn, and a musical performance closes the show.
The night falls on Halloween eve, and the event art leans into it with jack-o'-lanterns and a costumed host, so costumes fit right in. The full Natalie's menu and bar are open before and during the show, which runs at the pace of a party more than a standard comedy set.
