Play It Forward Youth Music Benefit at Woodlands Tavern

Music Loves Ohio holds Play It Forward, an all-ages youth music benefit and showcase, at Woodlands Tavern on West Third Avenue from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026. The early start is deliberate, since many of the performers are still in high school.

The first half of the night belongs to young players the nonprofit has helped, with Lauren Tucker, Mixxed, and Neo Gallegos-Samuels on the poster. Columbus favorites The Floorwalkers close the evening, a band that has spent years filling local rooms with its jammy, horn-friendly rock. Between sets there is a silent auction plus raffle prizes.

Music Loves Ohio is a Worthington-based 501(c)(3) run by volunteers. It gives instrument grants to Central Ohio students in grades 9 through 12 who cannot afford one and funds gear and supplies for school and after-school music classrooms, so money raised at the door and the auction table goes back into those programs.
