Visit with a Snow Plow at Westerville Public Library

Thursday, November 13, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Westerville Public Library hosts a Genoa Township snow plow outside so kids can study the blade, salt gear, and cab before the first real dump of the season.

Uptown Westerville Inc flags the visit for toddlers through elementary ages—exactly the crowd that will cheer every plow on the beltway later and finally know what those amber lights mean. Township crew members take questions about snow routes, and the whole stop stays outdoors unless weather or an on-duty call pulls the truck away.

If overnight ice puts the plow on the road, the library listing will note the cancellation; otherwise bring gloves and let the kids count every light bar up close.
