Visit with a Leaf Vacuum at Westerville Public Library

On Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Westerville Public Library parks a City of Westerville leaf vacuum outside so kids can walk around the truck, ask how fall cleanup works, and see the parts that usually roar past the curb.

Uptown Westerville Inc lists the stop as suitable for toddlers through about age 11, which is the sweet spot for climbing the mental ladder from “loud machine” to “how leaves leave the street.” Staff from the city side field questions about leaf removal routes while grown-ups get a break from explaining trash day alone.

The outdoor meet cancels in bad weather, so check the Uptown listing that morning before you bundle everyone into the car.
