Ohio jam band Trial By Fire, with ekoostik hookah's Dave Katz and former Yosemight players, plays Natalie's on November 28, 2026.
Trial By Fire play the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
The quintet is built from Ohio jam scene veterans. Dave Katz of ekoostik hookah plays keyboards, sings and brings original songs. Drummer Tony Kazel, bassist Nick Shaver and guitarist Luke Bergan all played together in Yosemight, and some of that band's songs are in the mix too. Mark Gonzales rounds things out with his own originals and a deep list of covers.
The band promises a different set every night, with long improvised stretches and the odd song they have never tried before. Hookah fans who caught Hookahween at Newport a month earlier will recognize Katz's keys. A night of open-ended jamming on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend give the Music Hall a festival feel without the mud.
