The five-piece formed among friends at the University of Georgia in Athens, playing covers at fraternity parties and campus bars for about a year before writing their own songs. Singer Jacob Reina came up on country music, guitarist Raymond Mann leans toward classic rock, and the drummer is a metal player at heart, so the band calls what they make alternative college rock. Their publicists pitch them to fans of The Strokes, COIN and Hippo Campus, and the Tossing & Turning EP is built on raspy vocals, sharp guitar lines and songs about mixed signals and growing up.
The band has spent 2026 on the road, including a summer run opening for Congress The Band at Bowery Ballroom and Paradise Rock Club, and now sits above 120,000 monthly Spotify listeners. A midweek headline set at A&R is a good chance to catch them before the rooms get bigger.
