The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band play the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Friday, November 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., with the Whiskey Bent Valley Boys opening.

Reverend Peyton is one of the best country blues fingerpickers playing today, and his band bills itself as the greatest front-porch blues band in the world. Early on, the group made trips to Clarksdale, Mississippi, to learn from T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour and David "Honeyboy" Edwards. They have three Blues Music Award nominations, and Dance Songs for Hard Times hit No. 1 on the Billboard blues chart.

Their latest record, Honeysuckle, was mixed by Vance Powell and features The McCrary Sisters, harmonica player Billy Branch and fiddler Michael Cleveland. Live, the trio is loud and stompy, with washboard, drums and guitar, so this is a good way to work off Thanksgiving dinner.
