Columbus songwriter Parker MacDonell previews his fifth album, In My Years, with a full band at Natalie's Grandview on October 28, 2026.
Parker MacDonell plays a first-listen concert for his new album, In My Years, on the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. The venue has flagged tickets as running low.
MacDonell started out on the Los Angeles club circuit, toured colleges after his 1983 debut, and has opened for or played with Mary Travers, Air Supply, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. In My Years is his fifth record and his first since Miracle on Broad Street with Matt Munhall in 2017. Craig Carothers produced it, and it includes songs by Don Henry, Keith Larsen and Animaniacs producer Tom Ruegger alongside MacDonell's own.
The band includes Phil Maneri and Doug Morgan, his partners in the Columbus trio Morgan, MacDonell and Maneri, along with Rick Waters, John Bellas and Kevin Ashba. Songs like "Wedding Day Waltz" and "Better With You" deal with love in the later years, which suits a seated Music Hall crowd.
