Columbus Children's Theatre brings back Mr. Scrooge at Studio One Theatre in the Riffe Center, running December 4 through 23, 2026. The opening performance is Friday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m.

The production is a 60-minute musical version of the Dickens story, sized for young children and families. Ebenezer Scrooge gets his three ghostly visits, the past, present and future scenes move quickly, and the songs keep the tone warm rather than spooky. CCT casts performers of different ages together, which is part of why it has become a company tradition.

The schedule is generous. Weekends carry 2:00 p.m. matinees plus 7:00 p.m. Saturday shows and 5:00 p.m. Sundays, and the final week before Christmas, December 21 to 23, adds 1:00, 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. performances on school-break weekdays. This one listing covers the whole run, so families can pick the slot that fits a school night or a weekend.
