Olde Pickerington Village lights its Christmas tree and then hosts the Lions Club's lighted parade on the night of December 4, 2026.
Olde Pickerington Village packs three hometown traditions into the evening of Friday, December 4, 2026. The Pickerington Village Association and the City of Pickerington host the free Holiday Gathering and Christmas Tree Lighting from 5 to 8 p.m. in Olde Pickerington Village, centered near 21 Lockville Road.
At 8 p.m., the Pickerington Lions Club steps off with its second annual Holiday Lights Parade through the heart of the old village. Businesses, school groups, and neighbors build glowing floats and decorate vehicles, and the Lions award prizes to the most festive floats and displays, which keeps the competition friendly but real.
The village also hosts a December Pickerington Village Shop Hop on the evening of December 10 for anyone who wants a second trip. For the Friday festivities there is nothing to buy, just a warm coat and a spot along the curb before the parade lights arrive.
