Micky Dolenz marks 60 years of the Monkees at KEMBA Live on Thursday, December 3, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. in the venue's indoor hall.

The Monkees debuted on NBC in September 1966 as a sitcom about a struggling band, and the made-for-TV group quickly became a real one, with hits that still fill oldies radio. Dolenz was the drummer and lead voice on many of the biggest songs, including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer" and "Pleasant Valley Sunday." Since Michael Nesmith's death in 2021, he has been the last surviving member of the original four.

His current shows pair those hits with deeper album tracks and stories from the television years, backed by a full band. For anyone who grew up on reruns or inherited a parent's Monkees records, this anniversary tour is a direct line to one of the strangest and most successful stories in 1960s pop.
