Visit Site

The City of Dublin holds its annual Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Coffman Park, 5600 Post Road. The event is free.

Santa and Mrs. Claus flip the switch on the park's 30-foot tree at about 6:15 p.m. Before and after the countdown, the grounds fill with caroling groups, dance performances, stilt walkers and a live ice sculpting demonstration. Kids can write letters to Santa, and real reindeer make an appearance, which tends to draw the longest line of the night. Photos with Santa follow the lighting.

Free parking is available at Coffman Park and the nearby Dublin Community Recreation Center, though Coffman Park Drive closes in front of the pavilion during the event. Arriving before 6:00 p.m. is wise for families who want a good view of the tree, since the crowd builds fast once Santa arrives.
