The second annual Downtown Christmas Stroll fills Historic Downtown Lancaster on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The free part starts at 5 p.m. at the gazebo on Broad Street, where L-City Coffee+ pours complimentary hot chocolate and kids can head to the Fairfield County District Library for crafts and a Christmas story read by Santa.

The ticketed stroll runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Check-in at First United Methodist Church at 5:45 brings a bracelet and the opening program, and then guides walk color-coded groups through Historic Square 13 to performances inside St. John's Episcopal, First Presbyterian, and St. Peter's Lutheran, ending with a finale at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The route also passes the Advent Window Walk displays by local artists Joseph Taylor and Enrique Jimenez.

Tickets are $25 plus fees with only 300 available, and buyers from last year's canceled stroll get a $5 discount when sales open. The stroll goes on in rain or light snow but would be called off for heavy snow or ice, with no refunds, and public lots and street parking are spread around downtown.
