Free Grinch Screening at McCoy Center

CAPA’s McCoy Center in New Albany screens Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas for free on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. It is the movie night version of Whoville—green fur, stolen roast beast, and a theater full of kids who already know the ending.

The McCoy sits on the New Albany campus corridor, so you can park once, skip the Downtown theater crush, and still get a proper seat instead of a lawn chair. CAPA lists the night as an education and community screening, which usually means the house leans younger and louder in the best way.

Grab tickets through CAPA’s listing before the free allotment disappears, then settle in for the Jim Carrey chaos without a Broadway price tag.
