Mixxed, a Fort Hayes student band with three lead vocalists directed by Jeff McCargish, makes its Natalie's Grandview debut with a free Happening Hour on Thanksgiving Eve, November 25, 2026.
Mixxed makes its Natalie's Grandview debut with a free Happening Hour on Charlie's Stage on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., the early slot on Thanksgiving Eve.
The band is made up of students at Fort Hayes, the Columbus City Schools arts magnet, and is directed by guitarist Jeff McCargish, who also fronts the blues group North of Memphis. Three vocalists share the lead, which lets them cover a wide range: the set list runs from Stevie Wonder to Susan Tedeschi alongside songs the students are writing themselves. They have been working small stages around the city, and this is their biggest room so far.
Coming home for the holiday and catching a free early set from teenagers with real chops is a pleasant start to the long weekend. Natalie's holds its Thanksgiving Eve Blues Guitar Meltdown later the same night, so blues fans can make an evening of it.
