Holiday in the Heights Tree Lighting in Grandview Heights

Grandview Heights holds Holiday in the Heights on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pierce Field, 1080 West First Avenue. Admission is free.

The evening centers on the city's tree lighting, with local food vendors, holiday shopping from small businesses and live music filling the field around it. The city, Destination Grandview and local sponsors put the event together, and it doubles as a kickoff for shopping along Grandview Avenue and First Avenue through December.

Because it falls on a weeknight, the crowd is mostly neighbors and families walking over from nearby streets, which gives it a small-town feel only a few minutes from downtown. The city says more program details are coming closer to the date, including the performer lineup, so check the Holiday in the Heights page before heading out. Bundle up, since Pierce Field is an open-air site and early December evenings in Ohio get cold quickly.
