Baldridge grew up in Patoka, Illinois, and moved to Nashville at 18. His path has been unusually independent: after his first label, Cold River, closed in 2019, he started his own imprint, Lyric Ridge, and reissued "She's Somebody's Daughter," a song he had first recorded years earlier. Paired with a video built from footage of his own 2021 wedding, it caught fire online in 2023 and became his first top-40 country radio hit.
That success led to a deal with BBR Music Group's Stoney Creek label and the single "Tough People." The tour title spells out the subject matter, so expect small-town, church-and-family country delivered with a full band.
