Veteran Columbus players The Mustangs bring country rock, Stones covers and oldies to a free Thursday Happening Hour at Natalie's Grandview on October 22, 2026.
The Mustangs play a free Thursday Happening Hour on Charlie's Stage at Natalie's Grandview on October 22, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. Bank of America sponsors the Thursday early shows, so there is no cover.
This is a band of long-serving Columbus players. Singer and rhythm guitarist Joe recorded and toured the Midwest and South with the Grimm Brothers. Lead guitarist Rick is a Blues Hall of Fame member who has opened for or played with Roy Buchanan, Willie Pooch, BB King, Lonnie Mack and Johnny Winter. Bassist Bill has recorded with Terry Davidson and Ray Fuller, and drummer Tim has backed the Deltones, Five Guys Named Moe and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
The set list leans on country rock, Rolling Stones songs, oldies and classic radio staples, aimed at an after-work crowd that wants to hear songs it knows played by people who have been doing it for decades.
