Between Us is a new listening series in the Bar Room at the Columbus Museum of Art at The Pizzuti, 632 N. Park Street, where a Columbus cultural figure brings a playlist of songs that shaped them, talks through the memories behind each pick, and then lets the records play. Sessions run from 7 to 10 p.m.

Hanif Abdurraqib hosts the first night on Friday, November 20, 2026. The East Side native writes about music as much as poetry, from his Tribe Called Quest book Go Ahead in the Rain to the essays in A Little Devil in America, so hearing him explain his own soundtrack is the draw.

The series continues monthly with Columbus producer J. Rawls on Friday, December 18, and Golomb on January 22, 2027. The Pizzuti sits a block west of High Street, which makes it an easy add to a Short North dinner, and the Short North Alliance lists the series on its calendar.
