Wanderlights, the free holiday light walk run by Downtown Columbus, opens Friday, November 20, 2026, and stays lit every night from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. through February 15, 2027. AEP Ohio powers the displays.

The route links three stops. Columbus Commons, at 160 South High Street, has a 40-foot tree, more than 150 lighted trees, an illuminated archway tunnel, a giant snow-globe photo spot and a butterfly display from Nationwide Children's Hospital. Town Street carries the lights west to the Lazarus building at 50 West Town, where the galleria display is open until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through December 31. The Scioto Mile Fountain adds more than 40 sculptural light pieces and 75 wrapped trees along the river.

On Wander Nights, December 4 to 6, 11 and 12, and 18 and 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., the route adds hot chocolate, carousel rides, Santa at Lazarus, holiday movies by the fountain, a trolley to the Nationwide Children's light show and an indoor holiday market at 65 East State Street.
