Why Worthington Youth Boosters why was this picked
Worthington Youth Boosters began in 1951 when parent volunteers formed the Cardinal Boosters, with baseball as the first sport, and took its current name after the school district added a second high school in the late 1980s. It now serves more than 6,000 participants a year across twelve sports. Recreational programs are open to children who live in or attend school in the Worthington district, while tryout programs set their own windows, with some travel tryouts held in May, July or August and a one-year commitment for many teams.
