Urban Scrawl

Urban Scrawl, often just called Scrawl, fills the Franklinton Arts District from October 9 through 11, 2026. Artists paint large-scale murals in public view while music, food, vendors, and community groups turn the blocks around 400 West Rich into a weekend art campus.

It is the city's longest-running mural festival and one of the easiest ways to watch public art happen in real time instead of only seeing finished walls later. Pair it with nearby Franklinton galleries and coffee stops, or treat it as a full Saturday loop if you want progress photos across multiple walls.
