Columbus Irish band The Kells plays a Celtic Christmas program of carols, jigs, and reels on Charlie's Stage at Natalie's Grandview on December 20, 2026.
The Kells bring A Celtic Christmas to Charlie's Stage at Natalie's Grandview at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2026. The program folds traditional Christmas songs into the jigs, reels, and slow airs the band plays the rest of the year.
The four members are Brian McCoy on flutes, whistles, and uilleann pipes; Doug Rudy on mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and vocals; Kim Rattan on lead vocals, guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki; and Eddie Cotter on vocals and bodhran. Pipes and flute carry the melodies while guitar and the frame drum supply the pulse underneath.
It is the Sunday before Christmas, which makes this a calmer alternative to the big downtown holiday shows. The room is intimate, the kitchen runs its regular menu, and the set leans on songs people know well enough to hum along.
