Columbus Commons screens Shrek for free on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Bring a blanket for the Wright-Patt Credit Union Movies at the Commons series with popcorn while supplies last
Movies at the Commons presents Shrek on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Columbus Commons, 160 South High Street. Admission is free with no ticket required. Free popcorn is offered while supplies last. This is a single-night screening, not a multi-night run.
The lawn sits in the middle of Downtown, so arrive early for a flat spot and use the Commons Main Garage if you want a simple paid parking option. Bring chairs or a blanket and plan for a cool September evening.
Date-lock for the 2026 Family Summer Movie Night lineup: Aladdin played June 5; Shrek closes the series on September 18. If weather looks unstable, check columbuscommons.org the day of the show. More free and low-cost downtown nights stay on our events calendar.
