Oso Oso with Liquid Mike at A&R Music Bar

Oso Oso plays A&R Music Bar on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, an all-ages bill with Liquid Mike and bugsy. This one starts a little earlier than most A&R nights, with doors at 6:30 p.m.

Oso Oso is the project of Jade Lilitri from Long Beach, New York, who grew up on Brand New and Taking Back Sunday. Pitchfork tagged both Basking in the Glow (2019) and Sore Thumb (2022) as Best New Music, and the catalog has grown since with Life Till Bones in 2024 and An Exchange of Information this year. The bright, hooky emo-pop of "The View" and "Basking in the Glow" is what most fans will be waiting for.

Liquid Mike, from Marquette in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, is a strong second act. Frontman Mike Maple's band put out five albums in five years, including Paul Bunyan's Slingshot and Hell Is an Airport, and their short, fuzzy power-pop songs make a good warmup for a Tuesday crowd.
