Noon kick on FOX at Ohio Stadium as the Buckeyes host Kent State. Treat it like any Horseshoe Saturday: early arrival, clear bags, and patience for campus traffic
Ohio State hosts Kent State on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at noon at Ohio Stadium, with a national FOX window. It is an early-season Horseshoe date that still fills the bowl and spills into campus bars and tailgates hours before kickoff.
Game-day rules matter as much as the matchup. Clear bags, gated street closures, and long walks from remote lots are standard. If you are not a season-ticket holder, buy through official Ohio State or Ticketmaster channels and screenshot nothing that will fail at the scanner.
This outing works for fans who want a full Saturday in the stadium district, not a quick drop-in. Eat early, leave earlier than feels reasonable, and confirm kickoff and TV details on ohiostatebuckeyes.com the morning of the game.
