On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Making Movies lands on the West Third Avenue stage for a 7:00 p.m. set, three days after the band's hometown release show in Kansas City for the new album Una Vida. The concert is open to all ages.

The group is built around Panamanian-born brothers Enrique Chi on vocals, guitar, and the small Panamanian mejorana guitar, and Diego Chi on bass, with Juan-Carlos Chaurand on percussion and keys and Duncan Burnett on drums. Their music blends psychedelic rock with Afro-Caribbean and Latin American rhythms, sung in Spanish and English.

Past records were produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, and the band earned a Latin Grammy nomination for No Te Calles with Ruben Blades. They have played NPR's Tiny Desk, and the album I Am Another You reached number three on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart. Back home they run Art As Mentorship, a nonprofit that pairs young musicians with working artists.
