Columbus tribute band Heatwave plays two nights of Linda Ronstadt songs at Natalie's Grandview, October 21 and 22, 2026.
Heatwave returns to the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview for two nights of Linda Ronstadt songs, Wednesday, October 21, and Thursday, October 22, 2026, each at 7:30 p.m. Previous Heatwave nights at Natalie's have sold out, so the band booked back-to-back dates this time.
The show splits Ronstadt's catalog among three singers, Nicki Jo Baker, Stephanie Doyle and Tammy Walkup, backed by Chaz Mechenbier, Jan Roll and Mike Shoaf. Sharing lead vocals lets the show move across Ronstadt's range, from the rock of "You're No Good" to ballads like "Blue Bayou" and the standards and Mexican canciones she recorded later.
Between songs the band tells stories about the Laurel Canyon scene that Ronstadt came out of, including the musicians who later became the Eagles. With ten Grammys and a long list of crossover hits, there is a lot of ground to cover, and the Music Hall room is a comfortable place to settle in for it. Buy for whichever night fits, since each is a full show.
