The Trad Nua Celtic Series brings Irish fiddler Gerry O'Connor to the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The series is hosted by Randy Clepper and Mick Broderick and sponsored by the Dublin Irish Celebration.

O'Connor grew up in Dundalk, County Louth, and learned from his mother, the noted fiddle teacher Rose O'Connor. He won a string of All Ireland titles between 1967 and 1973, and time playing with John Joe Gardiner in the 1970s shaped his ornamented, Sligo-influenced style. He recorded with Lá Lúgh, whose Brighid's Kiss was Irish Music Magazine's 1996 album of the year, and his solo record Journeyman made the Irish Times top five of 2004. Comhaltas gave him its Ceannródaí award in 2018, and he has recorded six albums with The Irish Rovers.

Clepper backs him on Irish bouzouki, and a Dayton duo playing old American fiddle tunes and British Isles dance music fills out the bill.
