Dev Lemons with Venus & the Flytraps at A&R Music Bar

Dev Lemons plays A&R Music Bar on Friday, November 6, 2026, with Venus & the Flytraps as support. A&R lists a 7:00 p.m. door for this all-ages date.

Devon Vonder Schmalz built an audience first as SongPsych, breaking down music theory on TikTok and YouTube, and on her Dev Limes channel, where she tried to recreate hit songs with her computer muted. That series became the EP Songs with the Volume On, and she has since moved fully into her own writing and production.

Her debut album, Surface Tension, arrived in 2025 with a run of eerie short films inspired by old-internet horror. The second, Hunting What We Already Killed, came out on October 2, 2026, and draws on the end of a relationship, so this show comes just a month after release. Expect moody, carefully built alt-pop, from someone who can explain exactly why each chord change lands.
