Eleven-piece Columbus funk band The Deeptones bring a full horn section to the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The Deeptones take over the Music Hall Stage at Natalie's Grandview on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
This is a Columbus funk supergroup of 11 veteran players from around the local scene. The rhythm section runs two guitars, keys, bass and drums, with a four-piece horn section stacked on top, plus male and female lead singers and several backing vocalists. Several members also play in other Columbus bands, and a couple turn up in Natalie's own tribute nights, including the annual Rush show.
A band this size needs the bigger Music Hall room, which has space to dance in front of the stage, and funk with live horns is a different experience from a recording. Plan on a Friday night of tight grooves, call-and-response vocals and brass hits. Natalie's serves its full food and drink menu before and during the set.
