Battelle Darby Creek hosts Darby Creek Day on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. with creek exploration and hands-on nature stations in Grove City.
Darby Creek Day fills Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park (2705 Darby Creek Drive, Grove City) on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Metro Parks frames it as the afternoon when families poke into what actually lives in the Darby corridor instead of just walking past the water.
Expect creek-side stations, short nature programs, and the kind of muddy-shoe energy that makes kids forget their phones. The park’s prairie and riparian trails sit right there if you want a longer loop after the structured activities wrap.
Wear shoes you can rinse, pack water, and use the Grove City entrance rather than guessing which lot feeds the program area—rangers usually flag the active trailhead once you arrive.
