Natalie's Grandview and the Columbus Blues Alliance host a free Wednesday blues Happening Hour every week from October 14 to December 2, 2026, with a different local band each night.
Blues & Beyond is a free weekly Happening Hour on Charlie's Stage at Natalie's Grandview, presented with the Columbus Blues Alliance, an all-volunteer nonprofit affiliated with the Blues Foundation in Memphis. Sets start at 5:00 p.m. every Wednesday, and this listing covers the posted run from October 14 through December 2, 2026.
Each week brings a different act. October 14 pairs vocalist Lady Nikki with saxophonist Ed Robinson. Mojo Blue plays October 21 with Blues Hall of Fame guitarist Rick Collura, then one-man slide band Benjamin Callender takes October 28. Anything Blue follows November 4, The Blue Cats play November 11, and North of Memphis, fronted by Jeff McCargish, has November 18. On December 2, Hocking Hills guitarist Micah Kesselring, a 2020 International Blues Challenge finalist, closes the run.
Collura turns up in three of these bands, which says a lot about how tight the local blues circle is. The shows are free, tips go to the players, and a reservation saves standing at the bar.
