Penguins visit Nationwide for the second home preseason date. A Thursday night look at camp decisions before the real schedule starts
The Blue Jackets host the Pittsburgh Penguins in preseason action on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Nationwide Arena. It is the second home exhibition on the club's four-game preseason slate and another chance to see how training camp lines are shaking out.
Penguins nights still draw a noticeable visitor pocket in the Arena District, even in September. Tickets are generally more available than October and November dates. Use official Ticketmaster inventory and save mobile tickets before you hit cellular dead zones inside the bowl.
If you already caught the Detroit preseason game, this is the second home look before the regular season. If you missed that one, treat Thursday as a lower-cost NHL night with real arena atmosphere.
