Los Angeles pop-punk band Beauty School Dropout plays A&R Music Bar on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with No Love For The Middle Child.
Beauty School Dropout headline A&R Music Bar on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with No Love For The Middle Child as support. Entry starts at 7:00 p.m., and PromoWest lists the night as all ages.
Singer Colie Hutzler started the project as a solo idea in Los Angeles in 2020, then turned it into a band with bassist Brent "Beepus" Burdett and producer and guitarist Bardo Novotny. Early on they had help from Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Mark Hoppus of blink-182, and Hoppus sings on "Almost Famous" from their 2022 debut, We Made Plans and God Laughed.
The 2023 follow-up, Ready to Eat, pushed further into big, glossy pop-punk with singles like "Freak" and "Beautiful Waste." They have opened for Turnstile and blink-182, so the songs are written for large rooms. Hearing them on A&R's small floor, the Saturday before Halloween, should feel loud and close.
