Sharon Woods hosts Barktoberfest on Wednesday, October 15, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. with dog vendors, food trucks, and a costume contest for canine best friends.
Barktoberfest brings dogs and their people to Sharon Woods Metro Park (7180 East Walnut Street, Westerville) on Wednesday, October 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Metro Parks lines up food trucks, dog-focused vendors, and a costume contest with registration from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and a parade of contestants around 6:15.
Leashed pups get the spotlight while owners graze and compare Halloween outfits that somehow involve tutus and tiny bandanas. The Rocky Fork picnic side of the park gives enough lawn that you are not elbow-to-elbow with every golden retriever in Westerville.
Pack waste bags, water for your dog, and a backup treat for bribery during the costume lineup—judges move faster when tails stay calm.
